Program Overview
The AI & Data Fellowship is SDAI's flagship career transformation program, designed for learners in Kanpur and across India who are serious about landing a data or AI role. Over 12 weeks of intensive, live training — followed by a 30-day post-course project sprint — you go from foundational data skills to building production-grade AI systems. The curriculum starts with Excel and SQL for data foundation, progresses through Python with pandas and Power BI for analysis and dashboarding, and then moves into advanced territory: Claude Code mastery, 6 dedicated domain AI days with ready-to-use prompt libraries, n8n and OpenClaw automation, agentic AI with CrewAI and LangGraph, RAG chatbots, MCP integrations, and LLM evaluation. You do not need to be a programmer — Claude Code handles the development while you learn to direct it.

Frequently Asked Questions About the AI & Data Fellowship
What career roles does the AI & Data Fellowship prepare me for?
The AI and Data Fellowship is structured to prepare you for multiple career paths in the data and AI industry. The most common roles our graduates target include Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, AI Engineer, Prompt Engineer, AI Automation Specialist, and Junior Data Scientist. Over 90 days, you build proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python with pandas, and Power BI for data work, then layer on advanced AI capabilities including RAG chatbots, multi-agent systems with CrewAI and LangGraph, MCP integrations, n8n and OpenClaw automation, and LLM evaluation. By the time you graduate, you will have 6 deployed industry projects plus a startup product in your portfolio, which gives you concrete evidence of your skills that recruiters can evaluate. The program also includes two mock interviews, a LinkedIn and resume overhaul, a Freelance Starter Kit, and direct hiring manager referrals from Arpit's professional network for top performers.
Why is Course 1 (AI Fluency) required before joining the Fellowship?
Course 2 builds directly on the foundations established in Course 1 (AI Fluency). During AI Fluency, you learn how large language models work internally, master the RCTF prompt engineering framework, develop fluency with 22 plus AI tools, and build your first two deployed projects. These are not optional concepts — they are prerequisites that Course 2 assumes you already know. Students who have tried to skip this foundation consistently struggle from the second week onwards because the Fellowship moves at a faster pace and immediately applies advanced concepts like Claude Code architecture, domain AI workflows, and agentic system design. Completing Course 1 first means you arrive at the Fellowship ready to build production-grade projects from day one rather than spending time catching up on fundamentals. A short entrance assessment is also conducted before admission to verify you are prepared for the depth and intensity of the 90-day program.
How does the placement support and hiring referral system work?
The Fellowship includes comprehensive career support throughout the program and beyond. You receive two scheduled mock interviews — one around Day 70 covering data and AI technical skills, and one at Day 90 as a full exit simulation — both with detailed written feedback you can use to improve. A dedicated one-on-one session focuses on rewriting your LinkedIn profile and building an ATS-optimised resume that highlights your 8 plus projects and technical skills. You also receive a Freelance Starter Kit that includes a live Fiverr or Upwork profile with your first three gigs posted before graduation. For top performers, the real differentiator is Arpit's personal referral to his network of 20 plus hiring managers at companies where he has worked and shipped AI systems. This is merit-based — earn strong mock interview scores and produce exceptional project work, and doors open that no job board can replicate.
Is the AI & Data Fellowship available online for students outside Kanpur?
Yes, the Fellowship runs in the same blended format as all SDAI programs. Live sessions are conducted from the SDAI centre at K Block, Kidwai Nagar, Kanpur and simultaneously streamed via Zoom to online participants. There is absolutely no difference in curriculum, project access, mentorship quality, mock interviews, certification, or career support between the two modes. Online students participate in the same real-time sessions with live Q and A, screen sharing, and breakout discussions. The WhatsApp community group provides round-the-clock peer and instructor access regardless of location. If you miss a session, same-day recordings are available. Students from across Uttar Pradesh, other Indian states, and even international locations have successfully completed the program online with the same outcomes as in-person Kanpur students. All sessions are delivered in both Hindi and English.
